Postpartum Shedding Q&A

Hey chica’s, I’ve been getting a to of questions asking if I have experienced any extreme hair loss after giving birth. So I thought I would make a post about Postpartum Shedding. What is Postpartum Shedding? Hair loss after pregnancy is the sudden shedding (sometimes in clumps) that many new mothers experience between three and six months after they give birth. This is a temporary phase. In the normal cycle of hair growth, some hair is lost every day. In my¬†last post I styled with a gel product from Aveda:¬†https://happykinksforever.com/2017/01/18/styling-with-aveda-flaxseed-aloe/ ¬†¬†It’s a good product, just a bit expensive for me. I looked into making my own gel, but right now with a 6 week old baby.. it ain’t likely. So coming across the Shea Moisture gel was awesome. I bought this …
